Pastor Leland Acker moved to Brownwood in 2008 to reach out to the lost and unchurched in Brown County. He has been Life Point’s pastor since the church started in August 2008. He holds degrees from Kilgore College, Texas Baptist Institute, and Stephen F. Austin State University.

Bro. Acker serves the community by personally ministering to all who are in need, served as a hospice chaplain, and serves on the Early City Council.
